Tigers clawed in opener, 28-6

The Fort Scott High School Tiger football team dropped its season-opener to the Paola Panthers, 28-6 Friday night at Frary Field.

Paola’s senior quarterback Jett Osbern scored two touchdowns on the ground and one through the air while junior running back Clayton Younger rushed for one score. Tiger junior quarterback Cal Cosens scored Fort Scott’s only touchdown on a 10-yard keeper with 10:01 left in the fourth quarter.
