A lady committed to the community she called home

Whether it was a recipe, her knowledge of food and gardens, or simply a smile and friendly remark, Martha Scott shared with the community she lived in.

The 75-year-old longtime Fort Scott resident, who died July 5, was involved in many organizations and activities through the years, many with her husband of more than 50 years, Jim Scott.
