Labor market means fewer inmates at Bourbon County’s jail
Staffing issues have forced changes to be made at the Bourbon County Law Enforcement Center, including a transfer of inmates to other facilities.
Bourbon County Sheriff Bill Martin and BCLEC Major Bobby Reed took concerns to the Bourbon County Commission on Tuesday. Martin and Reed said several recent resignations have dropped the number of correctional officers to eight.
