Tigers scrimmage; season tips off next week

The Fort Scott High School basketball teams took to the court Thursday night to prepare for the 2021-22 season.

The teams hosted the annual Red/White scrimmages in the FSHS gymnasium. The night was also a chance for Tiger fans to meet the boys’ and girls’ wrestling squads and watch performances by the school’s cheer and dance teams.

At the scrimmages, no scores or statistics were kept. Both teams played periods using a mix of varsity, junior varsity and freshmen players.
