Tigers fall short in comeback, clawed by Bears

BUTLER, MO. - Despite a valiant effort, the Fort Scott High School Tiger football team saw its hopes for its first win of the season crash in the fourth quarter, ultimately falling 31-22 to the Butler Bears Friday night.

Tiger quarterback Cal Cosen’s pass was picked off with less than 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter, ending the Tigers’ drive and shot to get back in the ball game.
