Tiger runners open season in Anderson County

Fort Scott High School’s cross country squads opened their seasons at the 16th annual Jerry Howarter Invitational Sept. 3 in Anderson County.

The Tiger varsity boys finished third with 72 points, a total time of 1:39:51.94 and average time of 19:58.39. The varsity girls placed sixth with 120 points, a total time of 2:11:09.46 and average time of 26:13.90.
