Stocking the lakes

Local anglers have opportunities to enjoy the sport through a program offered by the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism.

On Monday, about 300 trout were stocked in Fern Lake inside Gunn Park as part of an annual process that occurs under the Community Fisheries Assistance Program.
