Langerot to enter Kansas Wrestling Hall of Fame

Rick Langerot, former Fort Scott wrestling coach, has been selected by the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association to enter the Kansas Wrestling Hall of Fame.

An induction ceremony is scheduled to take place Oct. 3 at the KWCA “Fritz Knorr” Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet in Salina.

Langerot has given 52 years to Kansas wrestling; nine years as a wrestler and official, and 43 years as a coach, starting programs and bringing the love of wrestling to many young people.
