Tiger runners trekking to state

Fort Scott High School Tiger cross country teams have qualified for state competition after their performances at the Class 4A KSHSAA Regional Saturday at the Lakeview Recreation Area-Santa Fe Park in Chanute.

The Tigers girls finished first with a total team score of 52 and total time of 1:48:10.14 in the girls’ 5K run. The boys placed third at regionals with a total team score of 33 and total time of 1:32:44.32 in the boys’ 5K run.
