The Fort Scott High School Tiger football team, which begins practice Monday, has a new opportunity to prepare for competition this season.

Due to some rule changes made this year by the Kansas State High School Activities Association, high school football teams will be able to participate in events called Jamborees - scrimmages against other Kansas teams prior to the start of the season, FSHS Activities/Athletic Director Jeff DeLaTorre said.
