Kansas Sen. Caryn Tyson, a Republican who represents the 12th District, touched on state issues such as taxes and education during a legislative update Thursday morning at the River Room.

The update was part of the 2019 Kansas Association of Airports Conference, which Fort Scott hosted Wednesday and Thursday. Tyson talked about her and her family’s experience and involvement in the aviation industry.
