A group of students at Uniontown High School are showing their artistic sides, and their work has paid off.

Art students at UHS have earned several awards and recognition for their work throughout their high school years, most recently the Three Rivers League Art Show which took place April 4 in Yates Center. UHS took home 11 of 30 gold medals given out at the competition.

“We’ve been the TRL champions five years in a row,” UHS senior Jacey Bowen said.

Bowen and a group of fellow art students spoke with the Tribune about their accomplishments, inspiration for their work, and their plans after high school, among other topics.
