C.W. Birdsell

C.W. Birdsell, 90, of Fort Scott, died Saturday morning, June 18, 2016 at the Fort Scott Manor Nursing Home. He was born Jan. 10, 1926 near Cato, Kan., the son of Louis Edward and Frances Edna (Brown) Birdsell.

He worked for years at Lawson's Radiator Shop in Fort Scott.

C.W. is survived by a sister, Shirley Garrett of Arcadia, Kan., as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Margaret Logan and three brothers, Melvin Birdsell, Jack Birdsell and an infant brother, Harold.

Following cremation, Pastor Jim Logan and Rev. Phil Wilson will conduct graveside services 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Pleasant View (Large) Cemetery under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W.
