Hesston sweeps to move ahead of 'Hounds in region

April has been an unkind month for Fort Scott Community College's softball team. After completing the early portion of its schedule a game over the .500 mark, the Greyhounds have gone just 3-13 in April. Those three wins have been over Brown Mackie (a sweep), which is winless in Region VI-Division II play, and Coffeyville (a split on Wednesday), with which Fort Scott is now tied for last place (a three-way tie that also includes Neosho County) in the Jayhawk Conference-Eastern Division.
