COFFEYVILLE -- Fort Scott Community College's volleyball team suffered an upset loss here Wednesday night, falling to Coffeyville in 5 sets in Jayhawk Conference-Eastern division play, 25-15, 23-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-11.

The Greyhounds were ranked No. 11 going into the match, which was held before the new poll came out that shows Fort Scott at No. 13. However, it's likely that the poll was tabulated earlier this week before its release on Thursday. Therefore, the poll does not reflect this loss, which was the Greyhounds' third in their last five matches.

For the match, Julia Stringer recorded 13 kills. Mickey Trimble handed out 20 assists while Morgan McNeley handed out 17. Emily Bruce came up with 38 digs. Sheri Middleton had 7 blocks while Brette Moore had 6.

The Greyhounds go to Allen this weekend for a tournament.
