Mary Lavon Campbell Marshall Malin

Mary Lavon Campbell Marshall Malin, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully Feb. 18, 2015. She was born Jan. 16, 1922 in Farlington, Kan. She was the youngest of five children. She grew up on a farm and was a hard working, strong woman. She had many talents and was a wonderful seamstress, loved music and gardening. Lavon lived a simple life. Spending time with her family was her greatest love. She cherished her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Steven James Marshall (Diana), Mary Jo McRenyolds (Larry); nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; husbands, James Joseph Marshall, Jack Malin; and son Jerry Lynn Marshall.

The family wishes to thank Sunrise Assisted Living for their loving care.

Services will be held Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at noon, at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment will follow at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
