Rolland F. Goff

Rolland F. Goff, 67, of Hepler, Kan., died at 8:31 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013 at Mercy Hospital Fort Scott where he entered Dec. 24.

He was born May 23, 1946 at rural Walnut, Kan., a son of Wesley David and Mary Francis (Westhoff) Goff.

Rolland grew up and attended schools in Hepler and Joint Rural District No. 3 High School in Stark, Kan. He attended IBM Technical School in Kansas City, Mo.

Rolland married Charlene L. Edwards and they divorced. He married Lisa A. Cullison on June 19, 1982 in Hutchinson, Kan. She survives of the home.

Rolland owned and operated Goff Farms hay hauling business and he was a truck driver at the Producers Cooperative in Girard, Kan.

He enjoyed attending auctions and he and Lisa owned and operated the Iron Wheel Flea Market in Arma, Kan.

He was a member of the Hepler Ruritan.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, Lisa Goff, of the home, are a daughter, Sue Goff and her wife Janet Goff-Dieffenbaugh of Terra Haute, Ind.; sons Shannon Goff and his wife Marisa of Girard; Scott Goff and his wife Michelle of Girard; Shane Goff of Hepler; Shawn Goff and his fiancée Jessica Vincent of Walnut; grandchildren Christopher Celaya, Josh Celaya, Samantha Castellani and her husband T.J., Seth Goff, Ethan Goff, Jocelyn Goff, and Jamie Goff; step-grandsons Lane Stewart and Seth Boley; brothers Tom Goff and his wife Georgia of Girard; Eugene Goff and his wife Eva of Girard.

Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Girard with Father Roger Lumbre officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Walnut.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m., Friday at the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Girard where friends may call after 2 p.m., Friday.

Memorials are suggested for a storm shelter at the Hepler Community Center and these may be left at the church or the Smith-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 518 W St. John, Box 258, Girard, 66743.
