Carl Anthony Halsey, age 52, resident of Centennial, Colo., died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 in Centennial. He was born Sept. 11, 1961 in Los Angeles, Calif. Carl grew up and attended the Fort Scott schools. He recently moved from Wichita, Kansas to Centennial, Colo.

Survivors include two daughters, Jessica McCoy, Mulvane, Kan., and Amber Mollison of Mission, Kan.; two sons, Andrew Halsey and Carlton Halsey both of Independence, Mo., and four grandsons. Also surviving are his parents, Sharon Hoover and husband David of Orange County, Calif., and Jim Halsey and wife Becky, Fort Scott; two brothers, Scott Halsey and wife Jerrilynn, Frank Halsey and wife Deb all of Fort Scott; two sisters, Annette Halsey Cullison and husband Curt, Hendersonville, Tenn., and Leann Halsey of Fayetteville, Ark.

There was cremation. William James Schafer will conduct Memorial Services Monday, Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. in the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
