Glenn E. Davis

Glenn E. Davis, age 89, a resident of Wichita, Kan., died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at the Medicalodge of Wichita. He was born Aug. 20, 1924, in Redfield, Kan., the son of Albert Ephriam "Bert" Davis and Gladys Boone Davis. He had worked as an aircraft mechanic for Boeing, Beechcraft and Cessna.

Survivors include five brothers, Warren Davis, Fort Scott, Kan., Albert Davis, Hermitage, Mo., Jack B. Davis, Wichita, Kan., John R. Davis, Coral Springs, Fla., and Gerald A. Davis, Iola, Kan.; a sister, Betty McCreary, Nebraska City, Neb.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Harvey Davis and a sister, Ruth Gilfillan.

There was cremation. Private burial will take place at a later date in the Woods Cemetery near Redfield.
