And the Farmers' Market season begins

Leta Herbold, right, is bundled up for the opening day of the Fort Scott Farmers' Market. Some customers braved the cold, damp morning to do a little shopping for fresh baked goods. Market hours are from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday on Skubitz Plaza in front of the Fort Scott National Historic Site.
