Team members also will compete this Saturday night for the chance to battle head-to-head with a cast of eight professional rodeo athletes.

Coming off a successful season that saw the Fort Scott Community College rodeo team win nine of 10 rodeos they competed in and capture first place in the Central Plains Region, the FSCC team puts its talents on display for local rodeo fans this Saturday night at FSCC's Arnold Arena.

The event serves several purposes. Not only does it give the community a chance to see future stars in action for the last time before the College National Finals Rodeo in June in Casper, Wyoming, it also is a fundraiser as the team tries to raise the rest of the money needed to complete its new practice facility and offices at FSCC.
