Elizabeth Ann Wilkerson

Elizabeth Ann Wilkerson, age 64, a resident of Fort Scott, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at the Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She was born January 2, 1949, in Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Charles Edward Lifer and Cecilia Ann Molnowski Lifer. Elizabeth graduated from the Fort Scott High School. She married Robert Daniel Wilkerson on May 25, 1968. She worked for Key Industries for over 20 years, and for the last nine years, she worked as manager for Don's Spirits and Wines.

Survivors include her husband, Robert, of the home; a son, Donald Wilkerson and wife, Shelli, of Fort Scott; a daughter, Heather Probasco and husband, Collin, El Dorado, Kan., a "son" Robert Raygoza and family of Mississippi. Also surviving are a sister, Dorothy Vanatter, of Fort Scott and a brother, Charles Laverne Lifer of Fort Scott, as well as many nieces and nephews and a very spoiled and very loved cat, Shasta.

Rev. Chuck Russell will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21st at the Cheney Witt Chapel. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cheney Witt Chapel.
