Florence Irene Leisure, 86, of Pleasanton, Kan., died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott.

She was born Feb. 24, 1926, at Fort Scott, the daughter of Lester and Edna Insley.

She married Dale Leisure on March 20, 1950, at Benton County, Ark. He preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 2002.

Florence was a member of the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church and assisted with Meals on Wheels in Pleasanton, Kan.

She was preceded in death also by a daughter, Diane Clements and two brothers, Curtis and Victor Insley.

Survivors include three sons, Daniel Wayne and Robert E. Leisure, both of Pleasanton, and Marvin Lee Leisure of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Charlene Chatfield of Houston, Texas, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at the National Cemetery, Fort Scott.
