The Fort Scott Forensics team did it again as they were able to split into two directions and still win both tournaments. These mark the ninth and 10th titles for the Tigers in just seven weeks. At Paola, the team was led by 11 finalists with seven eventual champions.

Winning their individual events were: Ashley Allen (Original Oration and Foreign Extemporaneous), Taylor Watkins (Domestic Extemp), Mady McColm (Prose), Ackland Milton (Poetry), Taylor Nielson (Humorous Solo Acting) and Ashlyn Baugher (Serious Solo Acting).

At Chanute, a tournament with more than 300 competitors, eight Tigers pushed into finals to aid the team in its first-place sweepstakes finish.

There were no champions, but five second place medalists were solid, qualifying for the state tournament. They include: D.J. Blethen (Informative, Duet), Brett Allen (Duet), Jordan Traxler (Prose), Allsion Piatt (Extemp), and Eric Garner (Serious Solo Acting).
