Monte Dale Pollock

Monte Dale Pollock, 48, of Fort Scott, died early Thursday morning Feb. 3, 2012, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan.

He was born on May 21, 1963, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Charles Merideth and Ina Lou Bruton Pollock. He married Mary Ada on Nov. 29, 2002, in Fort Scott, Kan. She survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his father, Charles of Goodrich, Kan., a son, Michael Turley of Paola, Kan., two sisters, Rose Bowman of Parker, Kan., and Ina Frakes of DeSoto, Kan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ina Pollock.

Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday evening, Feb. 9, 2012, at Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hilton officiating. Condolences may be emailed to expressions@konantz-cheney.com.
