Pat Thomas, disaster specialist with the American Red Cross Midway-Kansas Chapter in Wichita, shows a group of about 10 people how to fill out a disaster registration and case record forms during a disaster training seminar Thursday afternoon at the Fort Scott Community College Burke Street campus. At the meeting, potential volunteers learned about the requirements for giving of their time and how to help respond to the most common disaster Red Cross is called to -- fires.
