Many honored at annual 4-H Achievement Banquet
The annual 4-H Achievement Banquet was held Friday, Nov. 4, to honor 4-H members for their achievements this past year. The annual event was hosted by UMB Bank. Awards were given to approximately 150 4-H members and leaders. This year's theme was "4-H Rocks."
Pat and Ronnette Vincent were honored with the Extension Appreciation Award which is given annually for support of the extension program.
The Fred and Doris Fink 4-H Scholarship was awarded to Katelyn Vincent, Hiattville 4-H Club.
Jan Beene awarded Fort Scott Community College 4-H Scholarships to Cole and Drew George, Uniontown 4-H Club.
Receiving an award for the 2011 Camp Counselor was Tanner Howard, Barnstorm-ers 4-H Club.

Officer awards were presented to Grant Hill, Northeast Scott, Secretary; Cassidy Westhoff, Northeast Scott, Treasurer; Cole George, Uniontown, Reporter; Ryann Allison, Northeast Scott, Historian.
The Gold Pin was presented to Dalton McDonald and Dacey Simpson of the Pawnee 4-H Club.
Leadership Pins were awarded to Hanna Fry, Hiattville; Grant Hill, Northeast Scott; Katie Brown, Meredith Hill and Rilee McDonald, Pawnee.
Receiving the Silver Guard Pin were Gavin Fry, Hiattville; Dawson Minor and Cassidy Westhoff, Northeast Scott; and Michaela Webb, Pawnee.
Silver Achievement Pins were given to Ryann Allison, John Emmerson and Mallory Westhoff, Northeast Scott.
