Craig Allison Brown, 48, of Wentworth, Mo., died on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Cox-Monett Hospital in Monett, Mo. Mr. Brown was born in Fort Scott, Kan., on Friday, Aug. 3, 1962. He was the son of Bernard Brown and Virginia (Swank) Brown.

Mr. Brown was married to Anessa Garner on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, in Eureka Springs, Ark.

He was a service manager for John Vance Ford in Miami, Okla., a member of the Fort Scott Masonic Lodge and the Joplin Valley of the Scottish Rite.

Surviving are his wife Anessa, two sons, Joe and Chet, five daughters, Stephanie, McKenzie, Cheyenne, Hannah and Gracie, his mother Virginia Brown, two sisters, Cindy Clements and Alona Wise, one brother, Jeff Brown, and two grandchildren, Brevin and Kayden.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Brown, and his father, Bernard Brown.

The family will receive friends at Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, Mo., on Thursday, July 21, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Services will be at Lakin Funeral Home on Friday, July 22, beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Marionville, Mo.
