Beadell celebrates 100 years

LARENA MARGUERITE MORTON BEADELL

Larena Marguerite Morton Beadell, known as "Renie," was born to Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Morton on June 16, 1911, in Fort Scott, Kan.

Renie was the wife of W.E. Beadell, deceased, and a loving mother of two daughters -- Betty Endicott and Dr. Lynn Cagle -- grandmother to six, great-grandmother to 12 and great-great-grandmother to one.

Flowers, gardening, quilting, collecting buttons and canning fruit and jellies have been her many activities. She resides at her home -- 2818 Limestone Rd., Fort Scott, Kan.
