Tigers' season concludes at Garnett

GARNETT -- Fort Scott High School's cross country season came to an end here Saturday at the Anderson County Class 4A Regional Meet.

Robert Sellers was the high finisher for the Tigers, turning in a time of 19:02 to finish 23rd in tbe boys' 5-kilometer race. Keenan Gregory was 25th in 19:19. Also for Fort Scott, Tyler Endicott ran a 21:40, Kyle Altic a 22:24 and Skyler Cruse a 22:28.

The boys' champ was Josh Whittaker of Carbondale-Santa Fe Trail, who ran a 17:21 to finish eight seconds ahead of teammate Garrett Colglazier.

Mogran Tourtillott ran the 4K girls' course in 20:29, finishing 55th, and Megan Midkiff turned in a time of 21:21. Girard's Micheala Bauer was the winner in 16:25.
