During the spring 2010 commencement at Fort Scott Community College, the FSCC Board of Trustees announced the naming of the Dick Hedges Administration Building on the FSCC campus in honor of the former FSCC president. Hedges (right) worked in the educational field as a coach, teacher, vice principal, principal and college president for nearly 40 years. He worked at FSCC as president from 1983-1991 when he took a job as vice president of Ward Kraft Forms and Labels. In 1999, Hedges returned to FSCC and served another stint as president until his retirement in 2003. Pictured with Hedges is FSCC President Clayton Tatro. (Submitted Photo)
