Lola May Andrews, age 90, a resident of Lansing, Kan., died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Lansing.

She was born May 21, 1920, in rural Walnut, Kan., the daughter of Otis Merrill Johnson and Mary Etta Cook Johnson.

She first married Marshall H. Moor in 1938, at Waverly, Kan.

She later married Curtis E. "Andy" Andrews on Aug. 22, 1954. He preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 1991.

Throughout her life, she had made her home in Wellington and Sedan, Kan., as well as Lamar, Mo., and later Pittsburg and Leavenworth, Kan.

She had worked for Associated Inc., an aircraft manufacturing company, in Wichita, Kan.

Lola enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and researching family genealogy.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Gnage, Leavenworth, Kan.; two granddaughters, Rhonda Reed, Salina, Kan.; and Paula Sneed, Leavenworth, Kan.

Also surviving is a brother, Lyle Johnson, Pittsburg, Kan.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Merrill Moor and two brothers, Harold and Paul Johnson.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at the Rosedale Cemetery near Savonburg, Kan.

Friends and family may meet at the Cheney Witt Chapel prior to leaving for the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

A memorial service will be held at Golden Living Center in Lansing, Kan., at a later date.
