Kan. AG reports recovery of $17.3 million

TOPEKA -- Record recoveries on behalf of Kansas consumers and the Kansas Medicaid program are among the highlights in the 2010 Annual Report for the office of Kansas Attorney General Steve Six. Since Six took office in 2008, the Consumer Division has recovered more than was recovered in the previous 13 years combined while the Medicaid Fraud unit has recovered twice what was recovered in all other years combined. At the same time, Six has cut his taxpayer funded budget in half.
