Fort Scott elementary students enjoy Toby Time

Silvers A group of Fort Scott Police Department officers and more than 60 kindergarten through fifth grade students at Winfield Scott Elementary School and Eugene Ware Elementary School spent time together Monday and Tuesday during special luncheons that were part of the Toby Time program, which taught students about school security and safety. Food for the luncheons was catered by Sonic Drive-In while the FSPD provided beverages. The Toby Time program was created in conjunction with Fort Scott Police School Resource Officer Toby Nighswonger.
