Davis hosting MMA viewing party Saturday
Fans of World Extreme Cagefighting star and Fort Scott High School graduate LC Davis can meet the 29-year-old at a special function to be held at Holmtown Pub on N. National Avenue on Saturday, April 24.
Davis, who will fight Josh Grispi on June 20 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, will host a viewing party for the ALDO vs. FABER Pay-Per-View mixed martial arts event airing at 9pm CT. The event at Holmtown Pub begins at 6pm CT and will include a raffle with chances to win prizes.
The former college wrestler, who competed at Labette Community College in Parsons and Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Mo., has won his last three fights and will fight Grispi in WEC's first trip to Canada this summer.
"This is going to be a great opportunity to watch an awesome night of fights and win some cool prizes," Davis said. "I'm getting ready to start my training camp for the Grispi fight, so I'm happy to get a chance to mingle with my local fans before the hard work begins."
