Tucker students present solos

Ten students of Carolyn Tucker presented piano solos at the 41st annual Fort Scott Community College Elementary Music Festival on April 17.

The following students earned a gold medal and I rating for his/her piano solo entry: Kelcie Bailey, Cally Ballou, Zachary Ballou, Aspin Durbin, Jordan Ford, Bell Green, Alex King, Nicholas King, Benjamin Morris and Wyatt Stark. Tucker students represented the Fort Scott Public Schools, West Bourbon Elementary in Uniontown and Lakeside Elementary in Pittsburg.

This is the 14th year for the Tucker Music Studio to participate in the festival sponsored by the FSCC Music Department. Mrs. Sharon Pruitt adjudicated the piano solos and Mrs. Betty Jo Laflen served as Instrumental Festival Director.
