FSHS students 'Stick it to the Man'

Friday, April 9, 2010

The Fort Scott High School National Honor Society gave its fellow students the opportunity to "Stick it to the Man" Thursday morning in the FSHS gymnasium. Students and staff purchased 3-foot strips of duct tape for $1 which would be used to tape an administrator to the wall. The dollars were also used to cast a vote for which administrator would be taped. FSHS Vice Principal Rob McKim received the most votes. The event brought in $275, which equaled about nine rolls of duct tape. The funds will be donated to the Bourbon County Chapter of the American Red Cross. The tape actually held McKim avobe the floor momentarily (center) before he shrugged it off (right). The school's cell-phone policy was temporarily lifted (below) so students could take pictures of McKim taped to the wall.
