DORIS LORRAINE LINVILLE

Doris Lorraine Linville, age 78, resident of 914 W. 5th Street, Fort Scott, died Sunday, May 17, 2009, at the Eureka Springs Hospital, Eureka Springs, Ark.

Doris was born Nov. 1, 1930, in Petersburg, Kan., the daughter of Byron Francis Bolling and Lucille Julia Judy Bolling.

After high school, Doris worked for the Western Insurance Company for approximately ten years.

She married James Albert Linville on October 1, 1955. He preceded her in death.

She enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Doris dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Timothy Linville, Deerfield, Mo; three brothers: Leroy, Lawrence and wife Letha, and Charles Bolling, all of Fort Scott; and one sister, Charlene Sipe and husband Roger, also of Fort Scott. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Chris and Jeanette Linville, as well as two great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, James Bradley Linville, and one brother, Gary Bolling.

Jimmy Tucker will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009, in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Scott.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association and may be left in care of Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott.
