The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association recently released its All-Academic basketball teams with two Fort Scott High School players receiving honors.

Kori Page Rienbolt and Brittany Bingesser, both seniors, received the honors from coaches, which were not sorted by a school's classification. Only about 65 girls in the entire state received this honor from the KBCA.

Rienbolt and Bingesser were the only girls from the Southeast Kansas League who received honors although there were several boys on the list

Other familiar names on the All-Academic list include:

* -- SEK players Grant Webster, Dan Porter and Logan Null of Independence; Austin Carter and Colton Davis of Labette County and Miles Crowley of Pittsburg.

* -- Players on other teams the Tigers played this season, including Whitney Southard and Kassie Curran of Girard; Codi Chambers and Keli Rauber, Prairie View; Rachel Fisher, Osawatomie; Kara McFarland, Ottawa.

* -- Stuart Keener of Oswego was the only Three Rivers League player on the list.

* -- Lisa Elmer and Will Hudson of Pittsburg Colgan also received recognition.
