Dragons beat Tigers, 1-0; storm halts second game

PITTSBURG -- Zach White's first-inning solo home run resulted in the only score of the first game of a scheduled Southeast Kansas League doubleheader at Jaycee Ball Park here Thursday, won by host Pittsburg over Fort Scott High by a 1-0 score.

The second game was postponed when lightning arrived in the area. No make-up date had been announced as of press time.

Fort Scott (0-1 SEK, 0-4 overall) still has not scored a run this season.

Pittsburg (3-0, 3-0) had four base hits.

The Tigers are idle until April 21 when they travel to Independence.
