Fort Scott Community College has made a few changes as it tries to ensure that its baseball and softball teams are able to play their first scheduled home games of the season this weekend.

With the forecast calling for snow on Saturday, the FSCC baseball team has decided to reschedule Saturday's single game against Des Moines Area as the second game of a doubleheader this afternoon. That doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. Lions Field.

Sunday's third game of the series remains on tap for noon.

The FSCC softball team was scheduled to begins its home schedule Saturday against North Central Missouri at the Betty Ruth Willard Complex. In an effort to beat the forecast, the start time for that doubleheader has been moved to noon.

Also, the Greyhound softball team has added a home doubleheader with the Baker University junior varsity that will be held at the BRWC today at 2 p.m.

Sunday's softball doubleheader against Iowa Central remains on the schedule, at least for now. That is also set for a noon start.
