Bobby Wayne Jones

Bobby Wayne Jones, 50, of Uniontown, Kan., died Friday morning as the result of a vehicle accident. He was born April 8, 1958, in Fort Scott, Kan., the son of Lee Charles and Opal Ilene (Ballou) Jones.

He is survived by a sister; Carol Adamson, of Fort Scott, and two brothers; John Jones, of Uniontown, and Charles Jones, of Uniontown, two nephews; Joshua Adamson, and Jessie Jones, and a niece; Ashley Adamson. Bobby was preceded in death by both of his parents, and a sister; Jeanne Hood.

The Rev. Lon Hale will conduct graveside services 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the Dayton Cemetery near Devon, Kansas. Family and friends will meet at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home at 9 a.m., prior to services for a visitation and will leave for the cemetery at 9:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Rural Fire District No. 3 or the Uniontown Rural Fire Dept., and left in the care of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W.
