Lilly May Cranston, 86, formerly of Fort Scott, died Friday afternoon, May 30, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. She was born in Seward County, Kan. on January 25, 1922 the daughter of William Henry and Ida Franklin Augerot. She married Leo O. Cranston in Garden City, Kan. on March 8, 1942.

She is survived by her husband, Leo, formerly of Fort Scott, a daughter, Leona F. Miller of Fort Scott, a son, Norman D. Cranston of Pleasanton, Kan., a sister, Helen Speigle of Springfield, Colo., a brother, Merle Augerot of Boise, Idaho, four grandsons, two great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Elwood and Don Augerot.

Rev. Paul Babcock will conduct graveside services at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Memory Gardens of Bourbon County Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home, 15 W. Wall St., Fort Scott, Kan.
