Paul Junior Carson, age 64, resident of Kincaid, Kansas, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at his home in Kincaid. He was born March 22, 1944, in Fort Scott, the son of Paul W. Carson and Sara Levesta Spurling Carson. Junior was a self employed wood cutter. He loved all out door activities, including coon hunting, fishing and trapping. He also loved to trade dogs.

Survivors include his mother, Sara Carson, Kincaid; one son, Paul David Carson and wife Donna, Fort Scott; daughter, Joanna Carson, Franklin, Kansas; two step-sons, Eric Stansbury and wife Marsha, Fort Scott, and Lonnie Stansbury and wife Judy, Arcadia, Kan.; two step-daughters, Kristina Stansbury and husband Jeff McIntier, Arcadia, and Karen More, Gas City, Kan. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanda Darlene Guder, Bronson, Kansas, and Susie Whitcomb, Kincaid; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert Wayne Carson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel, officiated by Lloyd Houk. Burial will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Cheney Witt Chapel.
