Surprise birthday guests add cheer

James Center, his sister, Genna, and his brother, Virgil, spent the weekend with their aunt, Loretta, and Uncle David Terpening, in Rich Hill.

Kitty Lewis visited with Marjorie Lewis, Saturday. She brought pizza, cheese sticks and cinnamon sticks. Joining them for supper were, Tiffany Lewis and her friend Tommie Cusick of Kansas City. All enjoyed playing cards afterward.

June Hereford, Linda Center and Kelsie Jo Collins spent the afternoon in Nevada recently.

Wayne and Marge Stringer visited with their granddaughter, Jennifer and Ryan Boggs, Adisyn and Wyatt at their home in Rose Hill, Kan..

Sunday afternoon, Beverly and Larry Peel treated their mother, Marjorie Lewis to Chicken Annie's for dinner for her birthday. When the waitress took them to a table to be seated there were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Lewis, Lisa and Taelor Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Harris and Hannah and her friend Lonnie, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Harris, all of Hepler, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. Brad Peel, Lauren, Lisa, Dillon, and Brady, Kitty, Aimee Lewis, Tiffany Lewis, and Tommie Cusick of Kansas City. Marjorie received several cards and they had two birthday cakes, one that said Happy Birthday mom and one that said Happy Birthday Grandma. Marjorie received three bouquets of flowers, a new small sweeper and some new clothes.

Amanda and Ethan Smilie visited with their parents, David and Sheila Blubaugh and Dale and Patty Smilie along with other family and friends.

David Lewis of Fayetteville, Ark., spent the night and Saturday morning with his grandmother, Marjorie Lewis. His wife, Carol and daughters, Kate, Sofe and Matty spent part of Saturday with them before they traveled to Emporia for a wedding.

Tuesday, Ron Lewis had lunch with his mother Marjorie Lewis.

Roger and Diana Cavin hosted supper for Roger's brother, Robert and Maria, Fredrick's, VA. They were here to help their dad, Bob Cavin celebrate his 80th birthday.

Joe and Shirley White would like to thank everyone for their prayers, cards, and love show to their daughter, Susan Whitehead, during their recent trips to Shawnee Mission Hospital.
