Wireless wonders

Left to right -- Mokan Communications owners Ann John and Viki Brown, whose business is an authorized agent for Alltel, attended the 2007 annual Agent Banquet in Wichita Feb. 6. Mokan Communications has locations in Chanute, Fort Scott, and Independence. It received the award for Company Leader in Wireless Sales for 2007 for multiple locations, Top Quality Producer and Leader in Data Sales. The Chanute Store received the award for being the Leader in Wireless Sales for 2007. Mokan Communications has 10 employee's company wide. Viki Brown started the Chanute business in 1993. In 2005 Brown and John opened the Fort Scott and Independence locations in 2007. Submitted photo
