Class 10 held its Feb. 20 meeting on a fine winter day. The next day the snow, sleet and rain came to Arcadia.

Lorene Gibson was the hostess assisted by her granddaughter, Vercie Keithly from Lamar, to the seven ladies present.

President Patty Peterson opened the meeting with the fact that George and Martha Washington saved only two letters from their lifetime of being together. President read from John 4, a favorite scripture chosen by Lorene, "Let us Love One Another."

The lesson given by Patty was a made up story about Merriam who took care of her brother Moses before he was found in the water by the Princess. She complained to the other brother Aaron. In the end all three turned out to be prophets.

Lorene chose roll call to tell if each lady had decided for whom she would vote in the November election for President of USA. Carole Garrison was the only one who had decided. Four cheer cards had been sent since the January meeting.

The flag salutes and Lord's prayer were spoken. President closed with," It is not hard for the Lord to turn night into day. He that sends clouds can as easily clear the skies. Let us be of good cheer. It is better farther on."

Vercie and Lorene served Pumpkin cake with coffee and nuts from the table decorated with all kinds of sweetheart candies.

Mary Lee Payne had the lucky number on the bottom of her plate and received a peachy candle.

Others present were Betty Dehn and Mary V. Shead who gave the blessing.

The next Class 10 meeting will be March 19 with Carole Garrison as hostess.
