Hunter's Ed course begins Tuesday

A hunter education course is scheduled to take place Sept. 7, 9 and 11 in Fort Scott. The three-day course, which is offered to hunting enthusiasts who are at least 11 years of age, tests each participant's ability to master rules and regulations regarding safe hunting practices. Class set to teach women football basics

There is no debate that three Fort Scott High School students are among the best forensics students in the country. FSHS seniors Daniel Lyon, Chase Rooks and Jeff Durbin, members of the school's debate and forensics team, are starting the school year ranked in the list of the top 100 National Forensic League students in the nation.
