EMPORIA -- A chilly, windy day in the Flint Hills during the Kansas Class 3-2-1A State Golf Tournament here Monday, which hindered the effort of the Uniontown golf team. Eagle head coach Jason Tourtillott said that his team practiced on Sunday on the State course and had good rounds as they learned the course. But on Monday, the high reached only 45 degrees and winds gusted over 20 MPH at times. Most of the Eagles teed off after 10 a.m., which was about the time the conditions changed...
