UNIONTOWN -- Oswego swept Uniontown here Tuesday night in a Three Rivers League doubleheader. The Indian girls squad took a 50-45 victory while the boys defeated the Eagles, 55-43.

Hayden Rathbun scored 22 points to lead Uniontown's girls (0-2 TRL, 2-6 overall) while also grabbing 8 rebounds. DaNisha Robinson scored 15 points.

"We played our best game so far this year," girls' head coach Dustin Miller said. "The girls fought back from being down 13 points in the first quarter to taking the lead in the fourth. Unfortunately we had seven turnovers in the fourth quarter that led to a missed opportunity."

Oswego girls improved to 1-1, 3-4.

Skyler Riley and Brenton Esslinger scored 10 points each for Eagle boys (0-2, 3-5), who trailed 20-9 after one period of play. They were able to get back to within 43-36 after three periods.

The Indians stand at 2-0, 3-4.

Uniontown's teams step out of league play to host Frontenac Friday night at the FSHS gymnasium. The Raiders compete in Class 4A after moving up a class in the fall.
